Niven Morgan’s Jean Baptiste 1717 Packaging

Todd Hart May 7, 2010

This is a product line identity that I completed a few months ago, but I hadn’t had a chance to post/share it. It’s based on Jean Baptiste, founder of New Orleans, and the same place that Niven Morgan happens to have deep roots. Louisiana transplant to Texas, Niven spends part of his time in the magical city of New Orleans. While there on a visit, he had the notion to create a line of products based on its rich history. Hence Jean Baptiste 1717. The solution we went with was this custom fleur-de-lis and classic type solution.

The packaging features the fleur-de-lis on a wax seal (not actually wax, but looks super real) with red ribbons on white uncoated carton stock
